Discover Canal Winchester
Located 15 miles southeast of downtown Columbus, Canal Winchester is a vibrant and historic town. It has a rich history in agriculture, commerce, and transportation. The village continues to increase and refine its programs and services, which is apparent through projects such as the opening of a new water plant and the start of a community watch program.
The majority of Canal Winchester is positioned in the Canal Winchester local school district, except the Fairfield County portion of Ashbrook Village which is in the Bloom Carroll School District.
As of the census of 2000, the population of Canal Winchester was just under 4,500.
