Reynoldsburg, “The Birthplace of the Tomato”, is a family friendly community that is located within Fairfield, Franklin, and Licking counties. The “Tomato Festival” is held every September commemorating the ‘birth’ of the first ever tomato bred for commercial use by Alexander W. Livingston. The festival features a variety of promotions for the fleshy fruit, including a tomato-judging contest, a parade, and plenty of games, food, and fun.
The community also offers the spacious metro park, Blacklick Woods. The park includes a four-mile walking and biking trail, open play areas, meadows, and a nature center. The park also has a 72 hole golf course.
The population of Reynoldsburg was over 32,000 at the 2000 census.
