Discover Pickerington
Incorporated as a village in 1881, Pickerington has the quaintness of a village yet the community of a city! The city of Pickerington is home to several events, which celebrate the city and nearby area. One major event is the annual Pickerington Violet Festival. The City of Pickerington is ten miles from Port Columbus International Airport and 15 miles from the Rickenbacker Port Authority.
Located just east of Columbus, Pickerington is the second largest city in Franklin County. The city features a historic downtown shopping area, while Violet Township is home to rolling hills, forests, and fields.
The population of Pickerington was just under 10,000 at the 2000 census.
